Industry Moves: Simon Beresford-Wylie Out, Rajeev Suri in as CEO of Nokia Siemens Networks

Nokia Siemens Networks said today that CEO Simon Beresford-Wylie will be handing the torch over to his successor, Rajeev Suri.

Suri, who has been with the company since 1995, had been reporting to Beresford-Wylie as the company’s Head of Services, responsible for all aspects of the global operations. Before that, he headed up Nokia (NYSE: NOK) Siemens Networks Asia Pacific. According to Nokia CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, Beresford-Wylie is leaving “to pursue opportunities in a new industry.” Beresford-Wylie’s last day on the Nokia Group Executive Board will be Sept. 30. Suri’s official start date is Oct. 1. Release
